BULLETIN

  Christmas Party/Club Meeting

There has been some confusion as to when our Christmas Party will be held, I take full responsibility.   Christmas Party/Meeting is December 16th 2PM at Fremont United Methodist Church 2620 N.E. Fremont St. Portland, Oregon, entry is East end of Church walkway down to basement.   Club will provide turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, coffee, drinks, condiments, eating utensils, members provide A-H appetizers, I-N side dishes, O-Z desserts.   We will do a gift exchange for those who wish to participate, gift should be unisex, related to metal detecting [I always add some kind of silver] and limited to around $20.   If you wish to help come early, we start set-up around Noon, extra hands are always appreciated.   There will be a short meeting to elect new Officers, and handing out of awards.   I apologize for any inconvenience this confusion may have caused our membership.       Byron Dunn President

About Us

Our Roots

The Oregon Treasure Trail Society was formed in 1982 when five avid hobbyists put $5 each into the kitty and started the club in an effort to provide an organization that would unite people together with the same interests in metal detecting and searching for coins, tokens, and other small interesting treasures of the past.     Today, we continue to provide a wonderful environment for those interested in this great hobby. Our club provides an opportunity to join with others and enjoy spending time on outings and sharing experiences. Everyone is welcome to attend one of our meetings.     We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month, at 6:00 p.m. for social hr. and at 7:00 pm for the meeting. Come early and socialize with members from 6:00 to 7:00
